I’m required to collect this information for municipal election campaign finance reporting.
Contribution Information:
Contributions must come from individual Ontario residents.
Corporations, businesses, unions, clubs and associations cannot contribute to a candidate.
The maximum contribution to one candidate is $1,200.
A person may contribute no more than $5,000 total to candidates running for the same council.
Contributions over $25 cannot be made in cash.
Municipal campaign contributions are not tax deductible.
If your total contributions to my campaign exceed $100, your name and address will be included in my publicly filed financial statement.
